Electricity Distribution Station
The transmission and distribution of electrical energy is undertaken via several levels of
voltage. At our distribution stations, the incoming electricity from high-voltage cables is
transformed and subsequently distributed to the network stations and to our customers.
With a 50% share of sales and a 34% share of adjusted operating earnings, electricity is one of our most important business segments. We act as an independent electricity trading partner in the energy trading business. In doing so, we exploit the bundled purchasing power of our network of municipal utility companies. | |
| Our experts provide our customers across Germany with individual electricity products, taking account of their specific requirements. Large industrial customers in particular often have individual service requirements of their electricity supply which go far beyond the usual all-round supply. |
