We sharpened the focus of our group of companies during the 2003/04 financial year and gave it a new strategic orientation. With its energy distribution and service companies in Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland, the MVV Energie Group is now fully focused on its core business and committed to promising closely-related high-growth business fields. We have emerged from this refocusing process strengthened and well-prepared for the future. As partners in the network, we will work together on the advancement and expansion of our Group.

The photographs in the 2003/04 Annual Report depict networks. On the one hand, they show technical networks of distribution stations, non-recyclable waste incinerators, waterworks, gas transfer stations and steam culverts. On the other hand, they illustrate personal networks, i.e. the close dialogue and cooperation between partners within the network of municipal utility companies of our Group.
