Executive Board

 

Dr. Rudolf Schulten (48) has been Chief Executive Officer of MVV Energie since October 1, 2003; he is also the commercial director and is responsible for MVV Energie’s resource recovery programme. Dr. Schulten has a doctorate in business and was most recently on the executive board at Bewag AG, responsible for commercial affairs and networks. Prior to that, he served as CFO at GASAG AG; his duties included financial affairs and marketing. His professional career has been closely intertwined with the energy industry for over 20 years. Dr. Schulten is married and has three children.

 

 

 

Dr. Werner Dub (53) has been the technical director at MVV Energie since

January 1, 2000 and is responsible for engineering and technology. Dr. Dub has a doctorate in industrial engineering. Before joining MVV Energie, he was a managing director at Ferngas Nordbayern GmbH. Before that, he took on varied management assignments in the technical division at Ruhrgas AG. He started his career at the International Energy Agency (IEA). Dr. Dub is married and is the father of two children.

 

 

 

Karl-Heinz Trautmann (51) was named to the executive board of MVV Energie as of October 1, 2003, as marketing director responsible for sales and energy services. He began his career at MVV Energie as an economist in 1981; most recently, he was CEO at Energieversorgung Offenbach AG (EVO), one of MVV Energie‘s major participations. Prior to that, he was a managing director at Stadtwerke Hanau GmbH as well as a member of the executive board at the Hanau Transit Authority. Mr. Trautmann is married and is the father of one son.

 

 

 

Hans-Jürgen Farrenkopf (54) has been personnel director since
January 1, 2003, responsible for social and general services as well as for data processing. After completing training as a draughtsman, he has been employed at MVV Energie since 1967, most recently as chairman of the works council of the MVV Energie Group and deputy chairman of the supervisory board, to which he was first elected in 1979. Until 1984 he was the deputy head of the water-extraction department. Mr. Farrenkopf is married and has one son.
