Positive Developments in Our Share

During fiscal year 2001/02, MVV Energie AG’s stock surpassed developments in comparable indices. Compared to the closing price for fiscal year 2000/01, it registered a gain of 5.4% to Euro 15.02. Conversely, the SDAX (-19.6%) and the CDAX Utilities (-15.5%) fell significantly during the same period. Even though absolute developments in MVV Energie AG’s share price have not been completely satisfying, MVV Energie AG’s stock has nevertheless shown relative strength and quality as a longterm investment. At the same time, fluctuations in the share price remained relatively small with respect to highs and lows, which is seen as a measure of risk. In the last fiscal year, the share price peaked at Euro 16.51 and bottomed out at Euro 13.82.
