The Supervisory Board of the Mannheim-based energy company MVV Energie AG has extended the contract with its Technology Director, Dr. Werner Dub (58), for a further five years until the end of 2014. This was announced by the company following the meeting on Thursday evening. Dr. Werner Dub has headed the executive board department Technol-ogy, Grids and Energy-related Services since January 2000. He previously worked as Managing Director at Ferngas Nordbayern GmbH in Bamberg and in various functions at Ruhrgas AG. He began his career in the energy industry at the International Energy Agency (IEA).
