MVV Energie, City of Offenbach and Mainova hold initial talks

In view of the new Energy Act (EnWG) and the regulatory authority currently being established for the energy market, representatives of the City of Offenbach and the Executive Boards of MVV Energie, Mannheim, and Mainova, Frankfurt, are currently investigating the possibility of cooperating in the field of energy and water supply in their respective catchment areas. These talks are initially aimed at determining potential cost reduction possibilities and at evaluating their feasibility. The companies expect the talks to produce initial results by July 2005.
