Mannheim, December 9, 1999. The Supervisory Board of MVV Energie AG in Mannheim has named Dr. Werner Dub (49) to the Executive Board for a period of five years. As Technical Director, Dub will in future be responsible for the Utility Services Division of the enterprise. He will take up his duties as of January 1, 2000.

Dr. Werner Dub was born in Augsburg on November 9, 1950. With a degree and a doctorate in engineering, he took varied management assignments in the technical areas at Ruhrgas AG in Essen, starting in 1982. In 1996, he became a director at Ferngas Nordbayern GmbH in Bamberg, a subsidiary of Ruhrgas AG. There he successfully guided the restructuring of the company as well as the buildup of an effective sales organization.
